San Francisco, CA - Fox Corporation announced on Monday that Anjali Sud has been appointed as the new chief executive officer of Tubi, their ad-supported streaming service. Sud's tenure as CEO will begin on September 1, and she will report directly to Paul Cheesbrough, CEO of Tubi Media Group.

Sud brings a wealth of experience to her new role, having previously served as CEO of Vimeo, a leading video streaming platform. Prior to that, she has held positions at Time Warner and Amazon, making her a valuable addition to the Tubi team.

This announcement follows the departure of Farhad Massoudi, the founder of Tubi, who recently led the company to become the most-watched free ad-supported TV streaming service in the United States. In April, it was announced that Massoudi would be stepping down, and a new business unit called Tubi Media Group would oversee Fox's digital ventures, including Tubi. Despite the leadership change, Massoudi will maintain his position as the head of the streaming platform, which was acquired by Fox in 2020.

The appointment of Sud as CEO is expected to further propel Tubi's success as it continues to revolutionize the streaming industry. With Sud's expertise and a dedicated team behind her, Tubi is well-positioned for continued growth.
